Olympic Fever In The Cayman Islands

Walking down the gorgeous Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands, it is amazing how many Olympians are preparing for the 21st annual Flowers Sea Swim.

Lounging on the white sugary sand, casually swimming up and down the coast staring down at the marine life, or just catching up on old times, the Olympic crowd is sizable. At least 30 Olympic swimming medals are accounted for by swimmers in the 1-mile fast sea swim along Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman.

Steve Barnicoat, Rebecca Soni, Gary Hall Jr., Conor Dwyer, Megan Jendrick, Ian Crocker, Brooke Bennett, Brett Fraser, Shaune Fraser, Haley Anderson, Kristy Kowal, Zsofia Balasz, Heather Roffey, and Andrew Mackay are populating the resort hotels in Grand Cayman in anticipation of the 1-mile race along the shoreline.
